Top Wiggy Sites of 2017

Fashion., Wig Reviews

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so that means buying gifts to your loved ones, and looking good for Christmas parties! That’s why I thought I’d do a post about my top wig sites of 2017. These won’t be in order of best to worst, just my favourites compiled into a handy post.

  1. Estellewigsandmore

I discovered this site through depop actually, I bought my first human hair wig from them for £40 and it lasted me 2 years but this year I’ve been buying off them frequently as the quality of these wigs are top notch. I’d say the wigs are slightly more pricey then your sites that sell cosplay wigs but that’s because they sell “fashion” wigs, made for everyday wear.

My favourite wig I’ve bought off them is called Bailey which was a brown to blonde ombre lacefront wig. You can see my review of this wig below.

2. Black Candy Fashion Wigs

Black Candy Fashion Wigs HAD to be on this list just because I’ve bought 100’s of wigs off their site over the years. The variety and quality of wigs for the cheap price is brilliant and if your looking for bright lacefronts then this is the place for you.

My favourite wig from Black Candy Fashion would have to be Macchiato, it’s such a gorgeous brown bob that really surprised me that I liked the natural look!

3. Lush Wigs

I’ve been buying off Lush Wigs ever since I’ve been buying wigs and they’ve always been a staple wig site. I haven’t bought much off this site this year but they do have an amazing variety of wigs and I bought an absolute bombshell of a wig this year called Spring Break, and insanely fluffy cute wig that rocks.

4. Venus Wigs

If your looking for high quality gorgeous wigs presented so amazingly then Venus Wigs is your place to be. I ordered from them and I was shocked at the care that’s put into everything, the wigs, the presentation, just wow. My favourite wig from them was Euterpe, which is now no longer sold but you can watch my review and see the quality of everything here.

Spooky Halloween Hair.

Fashion., Hair Dye Reviews

ello lovelies! So today I thought I would share with you my very exiting tutorial for spooky hair for the spooky halloween season!

So people feel like green hair is a very hard colour to pull off, but it’s honestly not!

I used Green Emerald by Colour freedom and it gave me such a dimensional look. For the darker blonde bits of my hair, a foresty green. For the lighter bits of my hair a vibrant grass green.

If you want to see how I created this look then please watch my tutorial below!

Milk Teeth Tee

Fashion.

I went down to London to see the concert at the Electric Ballroom and I saw Creeper, Energy, Puppy and Milk Teeth.

I decided to get myself a Milk Teeth t-shirt.

Milk Teeth are a punk rock band from Stroud, Gloucestershire.

The band really resinates with me because my dream throughout school was to be a female bassist in a punk/rock/metal band and I was constantly told I couldn’t do it because female bassists don’t exist, which ended up me quitting school.

I seriously reccomend giving them a listen as they have amazing music and great merch.

MARILYN HAIR

Fashion.

So today I tried to turn myself into Marylin Monroe, but Trisha Paytas turn on the look.

I don’t normally wear fake eyelashes but I did for this look.

The wig is a lacefront from Zellarosewigs which isn’t on the site currently but keep a look out.

Dog Tooth Trousers

Fashion.

Well I never thought that I would’ve grown out of the extremely high waisted skinny jean phase but looks like I’m starting to. I always thought that Marks & Spencer’s was a mature lady shop when it comes to clothes but looks like it’s not! Either that, or my mental age is getting worse (bearing in mind I’ve started crocheting).

I’ve always liked the look of a turtleneck shirt with high waisted trousers that hang around the ankles and some funky shoes to show off, but I never thought I’d ever in a million years wear that.

Thankyou Marks & Spencers!

Iron Fist I SEE YOU Fur Jacket

Fashion.

Hey everyone. So today is a very exiting day as I finally got the coat I’ve been admiring over for months. Yes, I got the I SEE YOU fur jacket from Iron Fist.

Not only is this coat Faux Fur, it’s also vegan friendly! So you can feel snug and epic looking without hurting others!

So this is the photo on the website. I was just in love with the funky colours of the jacket and the eyes on it.

This is me in the jacket! (Excuse my photo, I was exited about getting it so I wore it to work). The colours are so bright and the coat is so fluffy. It has fasteners all down the coat so you can do it all the way up with the collar done up and it’s a short coat so it looks great with dresses/skirts. The eyes are high quality, my only little nip picking is the tiny bit of black fluff inside one of the eye embroidery but I easily removed it.

I would 100% reccomend this funky coat and hope you buy it too! If you would like to see the coat then click the link below.

Why I Don’t Wear Fur.

Fashion.

Hey there everyone. So today’s chat is about why I don’t wear animal fur or support the fur trade. I feel like this is a very controversial topic sometimes but I hope this will be an interesting read.

Ever since I can remember, the thought of animal fur has made me feel uncomfortable.  I remember watching films when I was little seeing characters walking over fur rugs and I always remember having a friend who has a large taxidermy fox in her bathroom and it always made me feel uneasy. I used to think “Why would you want a dead animal in your house?”.

As I got older I realised the practice of getting fur for fashion and it made me feel sick the things that go into it. I’m not going to put graphic  things in this post as that’s not the point of it, but I just couldn’t understand how people could kill an animal for fashion.

Faux fur is my favorite thing ever. I’ve had a faux fur rug for years and it’s so fluffy. From researching fashion and knowing how fur coats are known as luxury items I wanted to get a staple fashion piece but knew I could do it without harming any animals.

So here’s my faux fur coat. Its so warm and looks really good. It didn’t hurt any animals and it was an affordable price. If you like this coat, or are looking for a really well made faux fur coat then go check out Asos and their range of faux fur coats.
